Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

At Livia & Co, each gown is carefully selected with quality and detail in mind. We understand that purchasing online can sometimes require adjustments, and we are here to assist you within the guidelines below.

We kindly ask that you read this policy carefully before placing your order.

Returns & Exchanges (Fit or Style Changes)

If your dress does not fit as expected, or you would prefer a different style, you may request:

  • An exchange for another size (subject to availability),

  • An exchange for a different dress, or

  • Store credit to the value of your purchase.

Return requests must be made within three (3) business days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for an exchange or store credit:

  • The dress must be unworn, unaltered, and in original condition.

  • All original tags must remain attached.

  • The garment must be free from makeup, self-tan, perfume, marks, stains, or any damage.

  • No alterations or adjustments may have been made.

Once received, all returns will be carefully inspected before approval.

Kindly note that all courier costs related to returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the client, including the return shipment and the courier fee for any replacement item.

Store Credit

Approved returns within the 3-business-day window will be issued as store credit.

  • Store credit is non-transferable.

  • Store credit cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • Store credit may be used on any available stock item.

Faulty or Damaged Items

In the rare event that your item arrives with a manufacturing fault or damage, please notify us within five (5) working days of delivery.

We will first be given the opportunity to replace the item with an identical or similar product (subject to availability and your approval).

A refund will only be considered if the item is confirmed to be faulty and cannot be replaced.

Order Confirmations & Cancellations

Once an order has been placed and confirmed, it is considered final.

Should you wish to cancel or change your selected gown after the order has been processed, the full purchase price will remain payable.

Size Selection

We are always happy to assist with sizing guidance prior to purchase. However, clients remain responsible for selecting their preferred size at checkout.

As many of our gowns are ordered specifically per client request, incorrect sizes cannot be returned to the manufacturer.

Showroom Sale Items

Kindly note that all Showroom Sale items are considered final sale.

These items are not eligible for returns, exchanges, store credit, or refunds.

RETURNS & REFUNDS – RENTED CLOTHING

At Livia & Co, we take great care in preparing each rental garment to ensure it arrives in impeccable condition. Please review the following terms carefully.

1. Fit Issues Upon Delivery

If the rented garment does not fit, the Customer must notify Livia & Co in writing within four (4) hours of accepting delivery.

Within this period, the Customer may:

  • Request an alternative size (subject to availability), or

  • Elect to return the garment.

If notification is not received within the four-hour window, the rental will be considered accepted and no exchange or credit will be issued.

2. Returns Due to Fit

If the Customer notifies Livia & Co within the prescribed four (4) hour period and elects to return the garment, a gift card to the value of the rental fee will be issued, less:

  • The dry cleaning fee; and

  • The delivery and collection courier fees.

The gift card is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

3. Sizing & Administrative Fees

Livia & Co endeavors to provide accurate sizing guidance and detailed garment descriptions on our website.

Where applicable, an Administrative Fee (as outlined in Paragraph 1.1 of the Terms & Conditions) will remain payable.

4. End of Rental Period & Collection

It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure availability at the agreed delivery address for collection at the end of the rental period.

Failure to be available for collection will result in Late Fees, charged in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.

5. Late Returns & Additional Courier Requests

If the Customer requests an additional courier collection after the rental period has lapsed, the Customer will be liable for:

  • Late Fees; and

  • Additional courier and administrative charges.

6. Alternative Return Arrangements

The Customer may request alternative return arrangements in advance.

Approval of such arrangements is at the sole discretion of Livia & Co.

7. Inspection & Damages

All garments will be inspected upon return.

The Customer will be held liable for:

  • Any damage beyond reasonable wear,

  • Stains requiring specialized cleaning,

  • Alterations,

  • Missing embellishments, or

  • Loss of the garment.

Repair, replacement, or restoration costs will be charged accordingly as per the Terms & Conditions.

8. Personal Belongings

Livia & Co accepts no responsibility for personal items left inside returned garments.
